The Unfocused chandelier was displayed for the first time at the Maison Baccarat boutique in Moscow, Russia.

The resplendent design, whimsically conceived of by the ever-inventive Philippe Starck mixes Clear crystal, pink crystal and mist crystal alongside frosted ornaments. This particular color concept makes the Baccarat chandelier of appears “unfocused”, evoking the effect of an out-of-focus camera lens, which in turn creates a stunning optical illusion. A romantic and poetic reinterpretation of Baccarat’s iconic Zenith chandelier, the “Unfocused” version also boasts a simplified silhouette. By suppressing most of the chains, the chandelier appears to possess a wonderful lightness. Also offered in black, the Unfocused Zenith chandelier is available by special order.
